A sunny day in Venice. How beautiful. You've explored the moods of Venice so well this trip... all of them quite gorgeous in their own special way.
The pattern of lights and darks in this one is just wonderful.

Again I see that blue and the green in yesterday's painting. Will these colours pop up in the Provence paintings and where? I love the reflections in the water here. It doubles the pleasure in looking at the painting.

So it stopped raining in Venice today. I love every mood you've painted. Hope you don't mind, but I've come to Venice with you and it is so wonderful.

How about a Vivaldi concert tonight? My favorite is the church near the Rialto. All gussied up now in Fortuny fabrics. Great painting opportunity.
