Coherence.
Here,the shadow breaks up the lights,the light blends the colors,as the bustling torrent vanishes into a motionless river.

I'm especially fond of the broad strokes and un-blended bits in this; a simple road becomes a pathway to beyond. (I don't see a river here.)

Not only fabulous paintings, but POETRY too!!! Thank you so much. I feel I've taken a mini-vacation with every landscape painting you send and I'm enthralled by the techniques of your still-lifes.
