Strange feelings of both restlessness and rest.A large diagonal from the upper right to the lower left, sharing but without dividing shades and lights, suggest even more the slight slope of the ground behind the triangle of vineyard; a slope, counterbalanced by the stable sunny path coming from the right side and leading us to the "space" beneath the foliage. This space, rather a sphere than a hole, because of the white highlight in the middle...Dilatation, contraction, life. Teensy holes through the thick foliage compel us to keep the eyes open, to be "active". And this suggests:" Mister, please, take us with you behind, further."
