I love the strength of the contrasts between the dark shadows and the brilliant blue sky. Good work.

The joy, in my small opinion, is observing the strength and power that the colors have developed over the years. The painter's eye has most definitely grown. No longer a timid application but a certainty of brush stroke as the painter moves thoughtlessly through the painting - pausing now and again to think, "Wow. I wonder where that came from?" Doesn't get any better than that.
