Oh!!! Fantastic perspective!!! I can SMELL that lavender....
Lovely composition, JJ
I am so overtaken by those precious blues and lavenders and yellow-greens!!!!!!!! So Lovely!!! Thank-you!
Julian - this is just delicious! and the diagonal really grabs the eye and plays tricks with it - luv the way the lavender blends together into a violet blanket. Am continually amazed at how you can paint such 'large' feeling landscapes on such a small panel.
A slowing lake of Lavender Is intoxicated by its own heady fragrances And seems to topple over... The landscape gardener does not realize What he misses: Today for the first time He forgot to awaken. His windows are closed. He is sounding asleep; Close to his Darling. They are waiting for a happy event: They will call her: " Lavande ".
Sorry, not " slowing " but " sloping ".
I was in your lovely country for the first time in April. Sadly, I was too early for the lavender. Thanks you for these lovely paintings. I am loving your landscapes so much lately.
