Track near Malaucene

This is gorgeous; I love the bright light on the Track and that rooftop. The intensity of the shadows are a bit of a thrill.
So exciting!

Richness of brushstrokes, mosaic of colours. Everywhere.But something (someone?)in the middle of the painting leaves me discombobulated: the big tree! I tell him: "O Big Tree you who saw so many historic events in Malaucene, why do you catch my attention like that? I want to see the mountain, the white and orange house, so attractive, behind you! But I can't! It seems that in your shadows, small bright eyes are glaring at me...Hypnotizing.
