Blue skies. No more snow is what this painting is saying. Or, spring is right down that road. The angle through the trees is beautiful. HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY TOMORROW, JULIAN, AND THANKS FOR ALL THE JOY YOU BRING TO SO MANY OF US EVERY DAY (OR ALMOST EVERY DAY).
Happy Birthday , Julian. There is a light at the end of the tunnel [ sometimes that light is a painting from you glowing softly in my inbox... so many thanks.] I love the soft grey-blue-lilac -green color on the distant hills.
Beautiful. Happy Birthday!
A patch of sky, a bout of path...A steep path like a blinding dried up riverbed in summer. And on both sides, these two clumps like two drop clothes inch by inch opening... Shh! The one act play is going to start... Magic.
Love how the bright tree foliage in the upper right advances! Happy birthday, Julian.
so many different greens in this view and i am trying to figure out if you mixed or used mostly tube colors? happy spring! happy birthday! and thank you as always.
How beautiful! That blue sky and those lovely greens are such a refreshing sight again. We had another rush of snow and ice overnight and even though the pines are frosted and the bare branches have been hung with frozen drops that sparkle in the sun, I find as I grow older I yearn for spring's warm sun and the newness of spring's green.
Happy birthday, Julian! Your paintings are always an inspiration to me! Thank you!
Happy Birthday, Julian. Thank you for giving us such wonderful gifts with these gorgeous paintings.
