A stalk, a head but no body, lost in an invading background. What does it mean? Perhaps some dialectic about "to be or not to be"? and up left, a background like a nocturnal tormented sky at Elsinore... Even the stalk is beginning to disappear in the dark. Only the top of the eggplant shows us a solution, a dreamland, a paradise symbolized by this beige land travelling with its moon. An unwonted still life.
