Those edges, the rooftop edges and where the stucco meets the road...they are electric for me...say much about the change from this to the other... lovely,the painting is lovely while beautifully charged with excitement.

Julian, This one is one of my favorites, the flowers and shadows are right on. So much depth. We were in France in 2004, and this brings back wonderful memories.

This landscape is for me reminiscent of the verse of Baudelaire " Tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté " .I imagine, the shutters are half-closed,and a romantic young couple is making an afternoon nap ...
