Oh, how I love those blue Provencal windows and doors!!! The "short-cropping" of it with flowers and shadows on that crackedly wall is sublime! Mais que c'est beau! The painting somehow contains ALL of Provence in it. It's beautiful, Maitre Maestro.

The textures are dead-on. The shutter looks to have years of encrusted paint. Very sharp.

Ah . . . the warm transparency of the shadow is perfect against the cool opacity of the shutter - and the textures - love it!
