Hi Julian Are the blues so vivid because the autumn air is crisp? Or it is the light ? Or does the eye of the painter catch something that we might not see were it not for his composition? I must pay more careful attention to shadows and their colors. One of the merits of your site is that it teaches viewers to look and really see. This is one aspect of this site for which I am particularly grateful. Barbara
