Still life with Red Wine Bottle and Onion

mmm, was it a nice drop of wine? I'm guessing so...

I have to admit that this canvas is on our kitchen wall today and that it is generating a calm quiet presence as I cook. It makes me realise how difficult it can be to 'experience' a painting on the web.
