Wow! I don't know why the simplicity of this solitary object is so striking to me, but I love it. Reminds me of when you did a spoon and an egg, the first painting I ever saw of yours, and what caused me to become a loyal fan ever since!

If set to music I am hearing "Pictures from an Exhibition"...perfect in its simplicity along with wonderfully complex shading... or maybe it's something by Philip Glass.. or Debussy? Ruth, help me out... D
