Gorgeous!!! Funny, yesterday while eating a blood orange, I was wondering when you would paint another partially peeled blood orange...I guess you read my mind, or vice verse! This is really, really beautiful and mysterious, Julian. Love it!

I like the light especially well. The way the peeling recedes into the shadows is quite nicely done. The entire painting is, really. As usual.

So beautiful. You have such a great eye for composition. Even when it's just one object in your painting, you know how to make it interesting. The highlights on the peeled segment make the orange look extremely juicy.
