If nature took a holiday, it would rest as this flower does -- beautifully.

I do believe that beautiful iris is having its final rest, after being captured in oil all in one day as a vibrant upright flower and as a wilting beauty. She may be proud to have been captured so well in both states. Only Julian can disclose the truth. Will he?

so beautiful it makes me gut wrenchingly homesick for spring in Provence.
