Wow! From fish to apples. Those white cloths make great backgrounds for your spectacular still-life paintings Julian.
I love the white cloth Julian.
Sometimes u just take my breath away. pf
Divine.
This is the first email that I have received from you Julian. Your years of painting every day really show. This painting actually did take my breath away as another said.
I like how the red in the background compliments the red in the apples.
You continue to astound me Julian. I can absolutely feel the skin of those apples when I look at that painting. Were they good to eat as well? Bonnie
This beautiful little painting will be hung in my tiny North Carolina mountain cabin. The cabin was once an apple shed at the edge of an orchard, and when someone turned it into a home, the place was named Apple Tree Cottage for the 150 year old remnant tree that grew in front of it. Sadly, we had to have the tree cut just last summer, but we'll hang the painting in honor of that huge tree-that-was. Thank you, Julian!
So lovely to know the continuing story of this beautiful painting. You have described such a lovely picture for us to keep in our minds.
thank you helen, for letting us know the magical place where this picture will hang. How lovely. I am always a bit sad to pack them up and send them off into the void!
It is always a joy to find such an enternity summed up in a simple visual moment - wonder filled.
