Lovely Julian. Seems to me these landscapes are getting stronger with the passing years. Richness of tone, and evocative brush work. Triffic.

These are images of heaven on earth - exquisite brushwork, a studied flow of paint, a strong suggestion of texture, incomparable composition and wonderful control of light. I weep with envy, but am invigorated to try the postcard size too. Your techniques are evocative of past masters - in an Australian context, members of the Heidelberg School of Melbourne.
