This is superb Julian. There is such a clarity of vision at work here.
I love your still life paintings, just beautiful Julian.
Contemplative and beautiful to see after a busy day. Thanks.
I just LOVE this! I always referred to you as the "master of shadows" but I have to add "glass" to that repertoire now. Love its simplicity and its moody feel!
Divine! Have been watching for a long, long, time!
You just get better and better!
I love your paintings!
Dear Julian, a double treat today, the vinaigre bottle with it's wax seal and un-ravelled string(wonder how you would paint an old basket, hint). Lovely! Then the larger still life of the ginger jar. An intense green glaze, tempered by the papery peels and colour of the onions. The chop sticks resting in the jar, rather than anything vegetal, is a nice touch. Meister!!
Bon Jour, Julian! Your work is on my screen everyday! Lately I have noticed that your colors are much more "wintery"...does the light change that much? Happy Holidays!
Cheers, again!
