Dear Julian, three beautiful paintings and I haven't commented once! Have been very preoccupied with no headspace left until now! I so agree how a buttery little Madeleine can take the sharp edges of the weather. The wrapping paper is really very pleasing as well.
Can you get your hands on macarons in Bedoin? Think silky, satiny rose, pistachio, violet, champagne. I wonder what you would make of such a subject? I am sure you would have as all drooling!
Gorgeous painterly garlic bulbs by the way, with what seems a new "au naturel" or nude background.

I enjoy your painting, Julian. You did a great job on the garlic. I can almost taste it, unfortunately, I'm not a fan of garlic. Its aftertaste stays with me. Do you have any chocolate around the house?
