"Less if more." I like this painting more than the clementines you recently did. It is more gruff and interesting, in my opinion, Julian.

These oranges look so monumental, huge and sculptural. Almost as though they were made of copper, brass and gold. We beat your 2" of snow with 5" of heavy, wet snow followed by freezzing rain. All the colors outside my studio window today are grey, silver, black, violet and ochre. Yesterday, it was 50 degrees and all grass with pure green! cheers, georgia

Two inches of snow in Provence! Is this an annual event? (Several years ago we had snow in May in Monflanquin!) Your paintings bring warmth to the inside while the snow brings beauty to the outside. Thank you for the warmth AND beauty your paintings reveal to us wherever we are. Mary
