Cool picture! Is this the first time you have painted toys?
Ah, I love these wooded toys, not made in China! So sweet, and beautifully painted. It takes me back decades and decades before plastic....Cynthia
Lovely painting!
Is this the beginning of an education fund for Louis? :-) I do love the toys , Julian; they look the way we remember our own.
And, thus, a new era in still lifes begins! Love the wooden toys.
Poor Louis! Lucky Louis. Wish I could see him. And the toy picture. Fanny Campbell
Great Paining Great toys (un plastic) Hoping to see a painting of Louis Thank you for sharing your gifts with us xo Raquel
Julian, wonderful painting of Louis's toys...reminds me of the images brougth forth by the relationship of Picasso and Monet and Renoir with their children. Loved the round blue train with the square blocks with negative hole in the center. thank you again for today's painting. cheers, geo
Awwwwwwww!!! So very sweet!!! Donne-lui des bises de Joyce et Ernesto
Very darling painting! I think you caught the wistfulness of your Luis' imagination for certain!!! I'd love to know what he thinks of Daddy's "picture " of his toys!! Blessings always! C-Marie
I like this a lot ... very nice :)
You are amazing!!!Taking such a simple subject and making it so personal and inspiring!Thank you Julian for sharing.
Nice painting, Julian. I have some paintings and drawings of my own 4 sons while they were growing up. It's a natural progression. Pretty soon, you'll be showing us something he has painted. I like that you still have the same tabletop/board in this painting as you usually use. It has your very own unique stamp on it.
