I wish to God I were there, walking on that road, going from shadow to shadow, sunny spot to sunny spot, with a pleasant sky above.
I love the soft effect of the colour and style of paint. This road reminds me of ones that I walked along when I was in Bedoin at this time last year. The light there is extraordinary.
Beautiful one, Julian. I love the tunnel of trees.
Beautiful use of soft colors and, like all your landscapes, amazingly rich. Enviable.
Beautiful soft palette, and as always, unequaled richness. Enviable and reinvigorating.
To my eyes your painting style has changed radically since few months. I have enlarged your pictures( as it is possible now on your site) and I was surprised to find that your brush marks are so different now, soft but dry, going towards an abstraction. I was wondering if this was due to a change in the paint you use?As always very exciting to see and study your work.
Close to the same free execution of the so modern oil sketches of Constable. But more shimmering here.
I love the style of your painting. vibrant colours.Lost and found edges and so full of movement. A joy to be hold
Splendide !
Your landscapes are inspiring. Keep doing them, it give s the viewers a tour. Bravo! Solid work.
Thank you for the most lovely painting of Sept. 6. (Chemin des Tournillaires.) That day was my birthday and I was anxious to see what you painted on the sixth. I told my husband to log onto Postcards and he too is now delighted to see each day what arrives from your wonderful palette and canvas. cheers, georgia
