It's beautiful Julian! Your colors/light are terrific.
the landscape wild a little dangerous with raw beauty reminds of the lion in the rock guarding the territory, new land new possibilities adventure and challeges are waiting
Nostalgia.
This one at first sight has no particular obvious focus.But some time later, the sloping sunny field with its small track of "blood" on the upper side makes me think of time, eternity of time, ephemeral time, passing of time, like these exquisite and fragile "white butterflies" in the foreground, born too early.....
Except for the fact of sunshine this reminds me of Derbyshire - the limestone bits - not the millstone grit. I can see why you stayed !
Sheffield in February does NOT compare favorably.
I am so jealous.
