When I open these up, they are like gifts as are your recent paintings on fruit, especially oranges.
That slight translucency in the wrapper is mesmerizing - can't stop staring at that one on the left! This might be my new favorite...
Marvelous! I can hear the paper crinkling.
What a great combination of colors!
Hmmm, maybe the little clementine is also anticipating Christmas or maybe playing peek-a-boo?
Its wrapping is quite beautiful in any event.
Absolutely LOVE the blue wrapping. A wonderful, creative, variation on a theme. The composition and colors are superb.
I find here a subtle link between Fragonard and you, regarding the supreme ease of the brushstrokes. Two high-spirited painters!
(I was thinking about these two paintings of Fragonard:
"A young girl reading" (1776)
"Inspiration" (1769))
How lovely it sounds where you live!!!! I have always loved France! Am enjoying your style of art - love the Chiaroscuro effect! Regards Sarah Orchard
