Wonderful! Such good colours.
I agree with John, gorgeous autunmal colours. Your mentioning the walnuts at market reminded me that I met a woman recently who spun sheeps' wool and then knitted with it, and she had dyed the wool a beautiful rich autunm brown with dye made from boiling the skins of fresh walnuts.
Glad to see you back on deck and powering. Love the fruits of your labour. Those pears are sumptious! Kind regards
Like your sense of humor as much as your art. Love hearing about little Louis, too.
The pears are just so everything pears are. I love your structure and commitment. Your paintings, especially lately, are perfect. But I am inspired by your doing this.. the discipline (ugly word), the going toward hope and the outstanding commitment. It's 7:20 and I'm cooking chicken and apricots in NYC, and loving a person out there doing this. We want to watch a show and I'm way behind to getting my dinner to my dear mate....husband...of 42 years. Yikes, i'm a talking head....sorry.
Julian, I really like your work. It is an fellow artists' visual delight. I am so happy to have found out about you and the beautiful work you turn out.
I love the conversation about things changing to Fall. Is it my imagination or are the colours deeper this year. The weather is getting cooler here as well on the West Coast of BC. Need a nice warm fire to sit by and eat big honey crisp apples.
These joyful pears foreshadow...Christmas time!
you,re the best Julian, stick something on you tube, I would love to see you give a demo, but some how I don't think it's your thing, keep up the good work and stay healthy.
Warm and cozy. Down vests are my favorite for this kind of cool weather!
