I love this one! I save those very same jam jars in Walnut Creek, California, except I think the design is slightly different, shorter and wider! I love the reflection of the light on the wall through the olive oil in jar!
I did chuckle when I saw this painting or perhaps I should say I got thirsty. This type jar I often use when I make an "adult beverage" for picnics and such. The lemon would do very well for my martini. Thanks and now for the ice....
Bonne Maman jar? Have many from orange marmalade contents. Familiar---nice painting--
How lovely! I have a jar just like that, full of buttons, sitting next to my sewing machine. Such a huge part of the joy of seeing art is the personal connection and the visceral emotion it evokes. Most often it's subconscious, but occasionally, like this, it triggers an instant smile.
