Beautiful. Like I want to paint.
I have noticed how much trouble you take, Julian, with the tops of the trees. Their feathery, uppermost branches provide a counterpoint to the daisy stems and tops of the wheat that are in the bottom left of the painting.
Love that luminous orange and the fragile white flowers in the left corner.
Fields of gold... memory, and loss.
I think your work is getting more beautiful, deeper...richer.
What a lovely observation! And it seems all of Julian's work is so considered and subtly balanced.
