I remember those days when our son wss young. It flies by so enjoy them!
can hardly wait til cherries are in season here....so beautifully done makes me want to eat one. (has louis learned to like them yet?)
We bought a "barquette" of those cherries off of a cherry farmer (do such exist?) while en route to check-out Beaumes-de-Venise (on your suggestion, Julian)- yum! Almost as yummy as Louis! Glad he is home and improving. Terrific painting. Cheers, Erzsi
You captured that beautiful dark purply red. Luscious
These are lovely !! Makes me want to reach out and eat one. They glisten and sparkle so !!! How is Louie ? How old is he now ? Such a cute little guy ... enjoy it all Julian. Happy to see a painting whenever you get a chance to do one. I am so very happy for you !!!
If this rich, luscious painting is what you get when you're rushed, well then, we welcome the baby in your life with even greater enthusiasm!
I jumped, figuratively, when I saw this painting. It's so beautiful because it's so sparing. Amazing what can be done in a short amount of time when one is focused and clear about what needs to be said (or painted).
No less amazing than anything you created before you welcomed your son. I can feel the crack and juice of these cherries as I bite into them. Yumm!
Cheer me up every morning with your paintings, great job.
Simply stunning! Even more remarkable that it was done while babysitting...
Wow. Beautiful. One of your best yet.
Delicious!! Regards, Robert.
What a delicious colour of red; the cherries almost jump out of the canvas.
Congratulations and blessings on your new son. Keep up the excellent work.
