Ah, but you still captured the blue of the sky and the warmth of sunshine. Your painting reminds me of why I so love oranges!
I love complements and orange and blue are the best.
For the love of all orange fruits, thank you. Strawberries and blueberries are crowding in, but let's celebrate the closing of the citrus season!

A knockout!
It is so spectacular how subtly you move away the fruit from the centre towards the left side!But the highlight on the fruit, a little on the right, "wants" to restore this tiny shift. The sloping skyline on the right side,like a slide run,also wants to push away the fruit.These antagonistic tensions make this painting so lively.Therefore,the accurate location of the tiny white highlight has been crucial in order to stabilize the perfect balance of the picture.To the nearest millimetre.
