Miam, miam. My husband and I were in Paris for a week late Sept. Had some fine croissants as well as pain chocolat. Will try to get the Kings of Pastry doc you suggested. Love your work. Jo Ann

You, my friend, are a genius! I can practically smell the coffee and taste the buttery goodness of that fine French pastry.

The croissant, it has been pointed out, was invented by the Austrians.

Ah, yes duly noted, but surely this one was made in France ... Oui?

I really admire your super realistic artwork previous to the more impressionistic work you're doing currently. You have such a great talent for the former: strawberries one can take a bite of; a landscape that allows you to feel the coolness of a patch of shaded path or smell the fragrance of the lavender...

What a sumptuous harmony evoked by the layout of the bright and dark colors.

Love this!
