Just beautiful deep color, I like the direct brushwork in this one.
Another beauty and another side of Venice, sunnier, both literally and figuratively.
The water reflections are just wonderful.

Julian, I think we sat on that bench one warm March afternoon -- if it's in the gardens that are beyond St. Mark's square. At any rate, that's what it evokes for me. Lovely, as always. So glad you're in Venice; you've brought back some amazing memories with your art.
