Another wonderful example of handling textures. Also very healthy.
visually spectacular--nobody does apples like you do. I'm just having a culinary problem--apple with milk must be some weird English thing.
Hmmm...The leadoff of a tango between two glints of light through the glass.Ingenuous like a dormant milk? Oh!nay nay nay...Burning like an incandescent red apple!
For all of us late comers to the world of oil painting, slogging through the occasional art class, having our teachers tell us about points of light, and dreamy reflections, and blending of colors and the importance of composition and how HARD it is to capture glass in all its complexities...well, here is how it's done. So fine...
couldn't be more--real??? Just grab it-- & take a bite!!!!
Eric I'm, with you on the apple and the milk that is artfully rendered via light, shape and colour. Of course an apple with cheese......now that's delicious. Julian, you must be on a healthy routine. If so, good for you!
minunat pictura!
Now THAT is an apple I can bite into!!!! I can practically feel my teeth sinking into it's crisp, juiciness!!!
