Julian, today a friend came to my house with a copy of your new book as a gift for me....signed by you!!!!!!! I flipped through it while we chatted and later savored every beautiful picture. I will enjoy it over and over! I told her it was the best book I own. That's true. Thank you for the joy you bring to all of us. Marie B.
Our copy of your book arrived last week and it was a VERY appreciated (if belated) birthday gift for my husband. What a pleasant surprise to see one of our postcards included on page 97 -- Autumn Vineyards at Les Couguieux. We treasure the book and the postcards and hope you continue producing such beautiful work long into the future.
So happy to have received your book........also happy that I bought 3 to give as gifts!
This was well worth the wait. Very, very nice. We have been enjoying your book very much.
Glaze, clay and skin, great textural painting Julian. All the best, Steve.
I got my book!!! Gazed longingly at it all the way from Muskogee, OK to Dallas, TX. I do so want to paint like that!
Sometimes I want to paint like that too :(
A masterful piece of texture, color and design.
Received my book, and am having a great time looking at all the wonderful paintings. thank you!
Julian: One of your best! The handling of the texture is wonderful. I look forward to your still-lifes. Thankyou!
Thanks everyone for your 'book news' and I much appreciate the positive feedback. Apologies all of you still waiting on delivery, the pre-ordered books were all sent on the 7th June but may take 6-8 weeks to arrive in the States, Canada, Australia, NZ etc. Hang on in there and feel free to check with me if you haven't received yours yet - I can at least confirm that your cop(y)ies were sent.
oh, wow. breathtaking. holy cow. the green glaze comes alive...
This painting Julian tells me an unspeakable mysterious story.
F... that's good.
your book arrived the other day....i was sooo excited and had been patiently waiting for it....it has been so hot here....i resisted opening it and waited until i got to my favorite spot on the lake, sat on the rock, read and enjoyed every page......thank you so much and we all hope you put another one together
Love the still lifes. This one reminds me of one of Chardin's .
