impressive! I'm speechless...
Hmmm...These blue colours again. Like spreading topaz gemstones all around the farmhouse. And the big wall on which I feel there is a charcoal drawing: a seascape with clouds sea beach flora... A scenery in the landscape, a painting in the painting! Fascinating!
such a lonesome feeling when i see yr painting...not sure why? much like around here in southern florida where we had a bad freeze. i am intriqued with the blue "something" the only color in yr painting. spring will come. gfs
beautiful!
His Julian In this mysterious painting, you have hidden 'in plain sight' some elements that raise questions: the touch of blue, lower left on the building; the bright green in the yellow grass near the path; the building itself: what is it?, is it occupied? On the other hand, the poles to the right of the building and the tree to its left point to the wintry sky and lavender blue of the hills. Yet I see spring in the touches of gold in the sky and in the dark vines that will 'spring' to life soon.
Barbara, if you search "Pierre Auguste Renoir" on www.artilim.com and look at " Landscape" number 326 for instance, you will see the touches of "blue colour"... Best regards, Alain.
