I haven't bought a painting yet but love your work. Your postcards bring a bit of french sunshine into my computer everyday ! merci encore et bon continuation Geoff
I have admired your work for a long time. Do you give classes or perhaps have a demonstration video?
This painting is magical. I can imagine winter fairies cavorting in the greenery. In this case, love the brustrokes that that create an impression of a place rather than a more realistic duplication. I see the painters, imagination and creativity in the result. Bravo Julian.
Julien: The broad blurred and frenetic pace of your exquisite plein air study evokes Monet painting in the chilly snow. Love the the tree trunks bending outward in a silent reach toward the heavens. You inspire me to keep doing my best in these difficult times
I've been looking forward to your almost daily "picmails" for many months now and have been uplifted by every one.Today's is beautiful. I found your link in a Guardian article over 2 years ago and have watched your style grow and change. Is this intentional or do you not notice it? I have recently started teaching mixed media and am fascinated by how people express creativity and how they develop their style. Best wishes, Marion
