Oh this is pure poetry !!!
fascinating to spy all the reflections of the orange in the goblet...a beautiful composition. as always, thanks (for brightening a rainy day)
Exquisite Julian! I never tire of this combination of objects, shadows and highlights.
Oh, these are so beautiful. I just happened upon your postcards when I bought a box of your gift cards. I have been receiving the postcards for 3-4 days. I refuse to let them go. They make me so very happy. Fill up my heart. Thank you for sharing them with us!
There are many things that just get me about this painting, but what intrigues me most are the arching colored slivers next to the goblet; the three precisely placed yet not overworked cresents of clementine orange peeking out from behind that vertical leaf. Such exactitude.
Elegant, Julian. Very elegant.
excellent!
I see a face with an orange nose at the top left of the goblet's rim. It looks like a angel with mischief on its mind.
My recent purchase of a gift card for a grandchild's birthday was calculated to be quick, easy, and practical. Since we are a family of readers, the Gift Card fit all my expectations and needs! Thank you for being so reliable (and predictable!)
