What more could one ask for??!!
Is that an archway reflected in the glass?? I'm there!
That's no archway that's Julian!...I think!? Delicious painting!
Ahhh, the staples of life! I can taste the rich tannins in the wine, the crunch of the bread and the creaminess of the cheese...beautiful!
You are an absolute master at painting glass!
Your mutually lofty colleague of our right coast made a very recent and similar self-hiding still life. Was it not Renoir and Monet who painted shoulder to shoulder? A current day version would delight no less! But until that happens...this glass, this background - how they live together.
I forgot the "!".
You are the master of reflections, these are just exquisite.
Wonderful wonderful painting!!!
Hi Julian
I appreciate you are no less a master in painting darkness than painting light ..... and when you command both the ends, the whole range in-between is under your control ... thanks for this glass of wine ..
Mmm, I'll be right over.
This painting is exquisite. Everyday when I open my "Postcard from Provence" it's like opening a beautiful gift. Thank you...
As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
In beer there is freedom,
In water there is bacteria. You've gone and done it again; a very tasty and lively rendering...where did I put my glass?
J'ai faim!
Julian, you're just a magician!
:)
Splendido!
