This piece is striking. The blue background frames the orange persimmon
so simply placed where many fear to tred.
In the center of the painting. It's so simple, so thoughtfully arranged.
And the subtle reflection of the persimmon
on the lacquered wooden( I think ) surface is lovely. Simply, a gem!
