Great change of direction! Very subtle light and cloud colour.
There is comfort in knowing that you 'struggle' to paint something! You make it all look so perfect and to do one daily is beyond my concept!
About 45 minutes ago I noticed the moon rise and I thought that I would take my camera out to see what I could catch. I, of course, do not have the background that you do, but the evening and morning light is often extraordinary at this time of year if you look with experienced eyes as you do. As my my travel photography emphasizes, the composition is the key to an artistic image. You, Julian, know this as is evidence in this painting and yesterday's onion one and ........ on and on.
should read "travel photography teacher" B
Oh I wish I had that view in the evening! By that twilight time I am on the freeway :( Lovely pink and rosey tones by the way.
Hi Julian, You have distilled down a cool, windy, a little stormy evening time on the post card - at the junction of sun-set and moon-rise.... Marvellous -PS Mahendra, India
Julian, you captured eloquently one of my two favorite times of day, sunrise and moonrise. Nice.
superb!
