i have never thought of an onion being beautiful, being too busy cutting it up for something, but yours is and with such a distinct personality. i shall look more carefully in the future. thanks for the lesson. gfs

Onions have been a favorite subject of mine. It's amazing how much color and texture you manage to bring to your onions.And keep them simple yet so very interesting. Lovely.
