Beautifully done, Julian. Great brevity in this unusual design that is very effective. Those open spaces create a psychological edge to the painting. The sun moves...the whole painting moves.

Lightness...Lighting effects, threatening shadow on the grass, and a wonderful little bit of blue in front of the house...Everything is both simple and somptuous here.
