Postcard from Provence, 1549 original daily paintings by Julian Merrow-Smith

The recent set of paintings remind me a bit of Claude Monet's having painted the Rouen Cathedral at different times throughout the day. The variety of dispositions, colors, lights in the recent paintings are FANTASTIC! Wish I could own all of them! I'd share....from time to time, I promise! Ruth having named your work "shifting lights" is so appropriate! Have an hyper-super time in Paris.

these still lifes have been great to see every day...that lovely little blue tin, every time i see it, i want the painting! wouldn't the previous owner be delighted and amazed at the second life you have given this wonderful little box. my favorite one of this series is the one with the exceptionally long title and the striped ceramic piece, posted on the 21st.
