I’ve been corrected by French friends for saying “J’adooooooooooooooooore” something or other because it’s a bit TOO enthusiastic, but “j’adoooooooooooooore” les echalottes, l’ail et les Sabatier — but especially when they are in a painting by Julian Merrow-Smith! Merci!

Hi: I love this one — love so many of them it’s obscene. Just because some of us long-time fans are no longer bidding doesn’t mean the postcards are no longer a highlight of the day. I assure you they are!
