Did the hale break the lemon tree? I hope your cherry trees survived. Yesterday, in Exeter, New Hampshire, following a sultry morning, baseball-sized hale, driven to the ground by powerful winds, wrecked cars and broke windows in houses. The roof of a drugstore collapsed. Lightning destroyed two houses. No gardens survived. Perhaps it was the same storm, on a global path. (Beautiful painting!)
