Julian, this is such a yummy, gorgeous painting!!! I absolutely love it. Wonderful, thick, chunky, paint and brushstrokes. You can smell that wheat drying in the sun. Love it, love it, love it!!!
this is so lovely. I appreciate how the rough vertical brushstrokes of the field contrast with the serene phrasing of the sky. It reeks of summer. Delicious.
